Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name used by her parents. Lennox had studied for three years in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 in the group called Dragons Playground. The group didn't appear on the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut record Diva. It was released in 1993. The album had a tremendous success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera which is a compilation of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. After minor recognition as part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio has version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous or A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer is acknowledged with the release of six studio albums on her own and a compilation.
