Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child one of Richard McCormick. She was the home of her mother and was also a mom. Her older brothers are: Michael Dennis and Kevin. From a young age, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for youngsters in the area. She was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was then contacted by Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He asked her if she wanted to join the show business. McCormick was hired to star in her first major role in 1964 in an tv commercial featuring Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It up until It is Broken on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected from a field of 1200 children who auditioned for the role of the oldest of three towheaded girls on the new TV sitcom The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with an unintended family. The show ran for five seasons and the show proved to be a huge success. McCormick wrote in her book Heres the Story Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice Published in 2008 McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she nearly lost her the love of her life to her sister Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. The woman said it might have been possible, but we never had the right time to do it.
