Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. Her mother was at home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance, and she would frequently put on puppet shows for youngsters in the area. McCormick won in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of 6 and was approached via Pat Domigan, a talent agent with the Jack Wormser Agency. He requested that she be interested to join the business of show production. McCormick was commissioned to perform in her debut major performance in 1964 on a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. She did another commercial in 1964, for Mattels Chatty Cathy toy and soon she was given the leading character on The Wind It up and It is Broken, a show at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the youngest daughter of the towheaded trio in The Brady Bunch. The show featured Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a new blended family. The show ran for five seasons and the show was a successful one. McCormick said in her 2008 book Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost ended her relationship in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star and brother on screen. In 2008, McCormick disclosed in her book Here's the Truth: surviving Marcia and Finding My True Voice, that during season five of the show, she was close to losing her virginity to Barry Williams. This would have occurred, she says. The timing for our marriage was not the right one.
